Grade 4 Leeskompetisie - A Celebration of Reading

On 20 October, our Grade Four learners took centre stage for our annual Leeskompetisie and what a treat it was!

Eight incredibly talented readers brought their stories to life with wonderful expression, enthusiasm and passion. Each learner gave their very best, making the task of choosing a winner anything but easy for our judge, Mrs Pandie!

After much deliberation, Mekhi Williams was crowned our Leeskompetisie champion!

Mekhi impressed with his exceptional comprehension, understanding and expressive reading, captivating his audience from the very first word to the last.

Huge congratulations to Mekhi on this well-deserved achievement and a special round of applause to all eight participants. You reminded us that reading is not just about words on a page – it is about bringing stories to life!

Keep turning those pages, Grade Fours! The next great adventure is only a book away!
