LEARNER ENROLMENT AT HERBERT HURD

Herbert Hurd Primary School is a highly regarded institution, for its commitment to excellence in education. Due to its popularity, we maintain an annual waitlist for learner placements. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to apply early to secure a spot for your child. Thank you for considering us as part of your child's educational journey.

Grades 2 to 7

Applications for Grades 2 to 7 learner admission close open in Term 3.

GRADE 1

Please note that our applications for Grade ONE for 2025 open on 15 February 2024 and close on 20 March 2024 at 10:00.

 

All successful applications will receive a letter confirming placement in the school for their child. On receipt of this letter a deposit will need to be paid. 

GRADES 2 TO 7

Applications for Grades 2 to 7  are limited, as we try to maintain a constant number of learners within each grade. However; there are learners who leave and create vacancies. Applications for Grades 2 to 7 will open in July 2024 for 2025. A link will be posted in the DOWNLOADS tab. There is no closing date for these applications. They are subject to availability. Please do not hesitate to contact the school administrative office if you need further information.

NEW PARENTS - 2025

A new parent orientation evening will be held in  October, to inform parents about the school. Details of this are posted to all successful applicants.
